Project Details

Description

Low fruit and vegetable consumption is an important risk factor for morbidity and mortality. Children and elderly hardly ever eat the recommended amount of fruits and vegetables. It is therefore of great social importance that fruit and vegetables play a more prominent role in the daily diets of children and vulnerable older people. In this project, we want to determine the factors that affect the fruit and vegetable consumption in nurseries and care institutions. Therefore we will develop an intervention in order to increase the consumption of organic fruits and vegetables.
