Beslissingsstrategieën en sociale mechanismen bij groene innovatie (BO-11-020-006)

Project: LVVN project

Project Details

Description

In order to support farmers in a transition towards 'nature inclusive farming', it is important to gain insight into their considerations when taking strategic farm decisions. Personal affinity has a role, as well as social pressure from the farming community and economic possibilities and constraints that are created through subsidies, loans and prices of farm products. This project tries to find such clues, which are important for governance strategies, by interviewing farmers (individually and in focus groups) and parties in the product chain (those that have contact with farmers and may influence their decisions), for both dairy and arable farming.
