Bemonsteren mosselen in Waddenzee (HD3570) (BO-11-018.02-050)

In the Wadden Sea areas have been closed for shrimp fisheries and mussel fisheries. Within the BO project 'gesloten gebieden Waddenzee (mosseltransitie)' the effects of banning shrimp and mussel fisheries from these areas is investigated. As a part of this research, a pairwise monitoring in the closed and open areas is carried out. The first data are collected in 2015. The available budget, however, is not sufficient for the necessary two weeks of monitoring. This project is therefore meant to allow for the second week of field monitoring. The monitoring will be carried out in June, using dredges and a hydraulic grab.
