Aquacultuur (BO-20-011-020)

The objective of the project was to provide building blocks for AOC education on aquaculture. There is no specific aquaculture curriculum in the Netherlands for this level of education, but plans exist to start an aquculture course at Edudelta College in Goes.

In cooperation with Edudelta College Goes, HZ University of Applied Sciences en Blueport Oosterschelde a theme day and excursion Aquaculture were developed for AOC teachers animal husbandry and fisheries. Topics covered include sustainability, water quality and nutrient cycles. The presentation are public via KOL. The theme day and excursion were succesful and valued by the AOC teachers.
