Description
The aim of this project is to identify strong sources of resistance against the aphid A. gossypii and the whitefly
Bemisia tabaci in the Cucurbita genus. For both resistant sources, we will elucidate the genetics, identify markers that will facilitate breeding and characterize the resistance mechanism.
