This research focuses on improving the existing data sharing and consumption in the digital economy. At the same time, the goal is to guarantee compliance with the existing GDPR regulation. The primary goal of this research is to improve data sharing infrastructure with semantic contracts and licences. Other objectives include (i) improving the semi-automatic process of digital contracts (e.g., using templates). (ii) improving and securing negotiating, signing processes. (iii) improving the automated clearance of rights (e.g., on digital
assets such as digital contracts) through DALICC or similar tools. (iv) Creation of ontology-based semantic models for contracts and licences. (v) Visualising the contract terms and conditions more clearly and efficiently. (vi) Implementing semantic contract compliance reasoning and verification checks along with GDPR.
