This study is part of the CONNECT project with the main objective to assess the ecological, economics and socio-political effects of cash transfer programs among households neighboring Nyungwe Park and Volcano National Park (VNP) in Rwanda. Specifically, this study will emphasize on the economic aspects of the CONNECT project, assessing the impact of cash transfer bundles on livelihoods and resource use, along with evaluating the role of microfinance innovations among households adjacent to VNP located in Rwanda Northern Province.
