Project Details
Description
The ministry requests harvest control rules: with these rule the yearly allowable catch per stock can be determined, in such a way that the stocks reach the management targets in 2027. In 2019/2020 harvest control rules were developed, within a management strategy evaluation (MSE). In 2023 the next MSE is planned. Therefor, in 2022 potential improvements on the MSE model will be investigated: on the model itsel, the management goals, the harvest control rules and the input data.
