Karolina Doughty (PhD in Geog. from Uni. of Southampton, UK) is Assistant Professor and PhD Coordinator in the Cultural Geography group. She is a human geographer focusing on interactions between place and wellbeing, with a particular interest in interactions with nature and soundscapes. Her research utilizes qualitative, ethnographic and audio-visual modes of enquiry. She has published widely on topics such as therapeutic landscapes, geographies of sound, and everyday mobilities.
