Description

Shotgun metagenomic sequencing of the guts of three cycadivorous insects, Rhopalotria slossoni, Pharaxanotha floridana, and Eumaeus atala. Co-cultures were obtained by extracting the gut of Eumaeus larvae, or pooling the whole insects, and inoculating them in BHI media with and without 20 microliters of BMAA
