Description
The transcriptome-wide expression was performed by RNA-Seq using the basal plate tissue, including the SAM. We used nine time points and the selection was based on periodic sprouting observations in onion bulbs of cv. Hyfive. We investigated the expression analysis from harvest throughout the whole storage period to select new candidate genes involved in dormancy release and sprouting regulation in onion bulbs.
