Description
This dataset contains data on population, prices, wages, coffee production, amount of land under plantations and tax data used to compute inequality for the regions of West Sumatra and Priangan (West Java) during the period 1800-1940. The data is used in the publication entitled: "Globalization, Inequality and Institutions in West Sumatra and West Java, c. 1800-1940".
