Description
SpoIIE deficient mutants in C. beijerinckii were generated using CRISPR-Cas9 to remove 2,4 kb within the gene coding sequence. Amongst the spoIIE mutant isolates, one could not produce solvents. The genome of this isolate was sequenced to confirm the spoIIE disruption and screen for SNPs.
