Dataset

Description

These data include those which were collected as part of a 28-month mesocosm experiment to investigate the influence of increasing inundation durations associated with the next 50-100 years sea-level rise (SLR) on salt marsh vegetation. The target species were Spartina anglica, a low marsh plant, and Elymus athericus, a high marsh plant. We measured sediment redox potential, vegetation growth, vegetation biomechanical traits, vegetation community and carbon decomposition (Teabag Index). The data resulting from these measurements and underpinning the paper are outlined in the ReadMe file.
