Description
This dataset was generated as part of a research project focused on the creation of corona discharge and the resulting ionic wind, and how this is affected by geometric parameters describing the electrode setup and by the relative humidity of the air. The overarching goal of the project is to explore the conditions under which corona discharge and ionic wind occurs optimally. An optimal discharge and ionic wind can be used to enhance electrohydrodynamic drying. \nThe dataset includes multiple types of data collected to evaluate and optimize corona discharge and ionic wind creation. The data is sorted in different folders describing 1) the effect of relative humidity on corona discharge and ionic wind, 2) the effect of geometric parameters on corona discharge and 3) the effect of geometric parameters on ionic wind.\nPotential users of this dataset include drying scientists, fluid dynamic theorists, and electrical engineers interested in corona discharge and equipment engineering. The dataset can be used to design an optimal wind generation. \nFor any questions, comments, or feedback, please contact Judith Ham at [email protected]
