Data from: Schermen met low-e altijd een goed idee?

Dataset

Description

A greenhouse experiment was carried out in 2025 in 3 compartments in Bleiswijk, the Netherlands, growing a sweet pepper crop between 31 January and 15 October. The compartments were installed with 3 different screen setups: an opaque aluminium screen combined with a transparent screen with low emissivity and high transmissivity for thermal radiation (804 low-e high-t); an opaque aluminium screen combined with a transparent screen with low emissivity and low transmissivity for thermal radiation (805 low-e low-t); and two reference transparent screens typical of standard commercial practice (807 reference). The compartments were compared in terms of climate, energy use, heat demand, and crop performance.
This dataset includes information on outdoor weather, indoor climate, energy use, heat demand, and greenhouse climate control.
