This repository contains the code and data required to reproduce the results of the study, "From Prototypical Regimes to Observed Complex Dynamics and CO₂ Transport in the Amazonian Nocturnal Boundary Layer". The repository includes code for evaluating boundary-layer height using five criteria (potential temperature gradients, CO₂ gradients, wind gradients, the Richardson number, and turbulent kinetic energy (TKE)), as well as for calculating the terms in the governing equations for TKE, heat, and CO₂, validating the RTE+RRTMGP radiation model, and processing cloud observations from the MIRA cloud radar. The accompanying data include TKE dissipation rates derived from wind spectra, the input and output files used with the RTE+RRTMGP model to estimate the terms in the governing equations, and MIRA cloud-radar observations for the nights used to classify strongly and weakly stable profiles. Additional campaign data may be requested through https://www.cloudroots.wur.nl. The code and data repository associated with de Feiter et al. (2025) is available at https://doi.org/10.4121/a72aa7ae-7fd2-450b-a1c4-1fa093d15438. A dedicated data paper containing the data required to reproduce the study is currently under development and will be made available through this website once published.
