We de novo sequenced the genome of a cauliflower (B. oleracea ssp. botrytis Korso) with a sequencing strategy combining single-molecule real-time sequencing (SMRT, PacBio), optical maps produced using the Saphyr system (BioNano Genomics), chromosome-contact maps (Hi-C) and short reads from an Illumina sequencer (unpublished).
