An integrated taxonomy of situation perception: situation characteristics and appraisal dimensions

Up to date no empirical work has tested the overlap between situation characteristics and appraisal dimensions. The current study aims to contribute a piece to the puzzle of the jangle in situation taxonomies, by empirically linking appraisal dimensions with situation characteristics. A link between situation characteristics and appraisal dimensions would provide a broader understanding of these constructs and allows researchers from both fields to draw from a wider literature.
