Stichting Wageningen Research (Wageningen University and Research) explains in what manner their know-how is adding to the Model2Bio project and leading the intermediate treatments model and the bio-processes model. The Model2Bio Toll is a pioneering decision support toll to predict agrifood residual streams and to identify best routes for valorising them. It will simulate the whole process of the agrifood sector and tackle the problem of organic residues by embracing ‘circular economy’ principles.
