This interview covered the robotics activities on Learning From demonstrations in fresh food industries for the Dutch regional newspaper de Gelderlander. At Wageningen University & Research we are looking at the new generation of robots which will be apprentices that can be taught to perform activities on the factory floor. The work is not yet ready for industry, but significant strides have already been made. We adhere to the ideals that such innovations should not be done in isolation, and public debate is continuously needed for the role of such technologies in our society.
