Launched jointly three years ago by Vereijken-Hooijer, the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture Nature & Food Quality (LNV), and Trouw Nutrition, the Family Feeding Matters Project tried to find answers to this question: how to facilitate the piglet‘s feeding and drinking behaviour, thereby easing the transition from sow’s milk to solid feed?
