Description

In the Netherlands, many farmers are required to plant a catch crop (a
cover crop that focusses on catching nutrients) before the first of
October after their maize crop.
Mainly, there are 2 techniques to plant this catch crop:
-planting it after corn harvest,
-planting it while the corn is knee high or smaller.
However, the 2 techniques have drawbacks.
