This advanced topic course is organized by Consortium for Innovation in Post-Harvest Loss and Food Waste Reduction and is delivered online by Iowa State University as a graduate course as a 3-credit Advanced Topics course (ABE 690) during this spring 2021 semester. The course is offered starting the week of January 25 and run through May 6 and is open to students worldwide. In this course, Aneesh Chauhan, in a two part lecture, covers fundamental and advanced Sensing, Machine Learning, Automation and Robotics technologies, as they are currently being used in research as well as in industry to optimize post-harvest process and to reduce food loss and waste.
