    Description

    BrightSpace project overview

BrightSpace was presented by Project Coordinator, Dr. Marc Müller in Brussels at the clustering workshop of Horizon funded EU projects "Models and tools supporting agricultural policies: a Horizon update" organized by EC DG AGRI on 25 October 2023. The presentation gives an overview of the project objectives, conceptual framework, project approach, model toolbox, linkages to ongoing Horizon Europe projects, annual meeting 2023 and 1st Thematic Seminar.

Eight R&I projects (MIND STEP, AGRICORE, BESTMAP, BATModel, MATS,TRADE4SD, LAMASUS and BrightSpace) funded under Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe being in various stages of completion were presented to representatives of the relevant projects and policymakers from across the European Commission services (DG AGRI, DG ENV, DG JRC, DG CLIMA, DG TRADE, DG INTPA, DG SANTE in particular). The objectives of the workshop were to ensure policy feedback by presenting and discussing the projects, their results and research needs with policymakers; and foster networking and collaboration between the projects and with policymakers. The results of all these projects will feed into the policy discussions on the future CAP beyond 2027.
