As part of the Integrated Food Ontology Workshop (which is part of the Formal Ontology in Information Systems Conference), Sander van Leeuwen gave a presentation on the progress of the development of the Food Safety Hazards and Processes Ontology. This ontology facilitates data sharing and interoperability concerning data on the food safety hazard profile of food ingredients and information on process parameter of certain processes are needed to eliminate them and/or prevent growth of the hazard.
